Food Packaging design
While working in the pre-press department of Wingate Packaging, I created these designs that wrap around a packaged food product. There were two variations created for displaying a new product.
Playing Card Design
This was a design created for Wingate Packaging that was printed in house with their digital printer. The company's fonts, colors, and design was taken into consideration when creating this deck of cards.
Bodoni Type Book
This book was created to show the characteristics and uses of the Bodoni Typeface for educational purposes. It explains how Bodoni is designed for elegance, showing its uses in perfume, jewelry, and other fashionable items.
Three-Dimensional Signage
For this project, I designed and illustrated a small three-dimensional sign with an inspirational quote. This involves creating separate pieces and die cuts so the printer will be able to trim the pieces in the correct areas.
Re-design: Tea Box
This was an assignment where we picked a product of our choice and re-designed the packaging. Since tea is one of my favorite drinks, I decided to re-design a Red Rose tea box. This design leverages more of the branding compared to the original blue packaging. It also uses a square package to help stand out more from the competition around it.
Children's Storybook: Graceferd
I was commissioned to illustrate a storybook about a young girl who finds an injured goose named Graceferd. In the end I created 25 illustrations as well as the book cover.
Children's Storybook: Princess May and the Hidden Treasure
For my senior capstone project, I researched ways to help improve children’s memory in a fun and entertaining way. The end result was a children’s storybook with learning techniques embedded into the story.
This book follows Princess May and her best friend Leo, the owl griffin. The King has asked them to retrieve a treasure for the festival, however, the directions get destroyed along the way. Now Princess May and Leo must find ways to remember the path as told by their friends around them.
